Greetings from sunny Missouri!
I guess I can't be a lurker forever.
I just finished checking out again the site for LIBClient, as I hadn't
remembered any major problems when I pulled it up briefly last week, but
noticed a lot of concerns expressed on law-lib. I find that the interface for
LIBClient is not too complicated to navigate if you have done some
surfing...but I think it might pose some problems to new or occasional users.
Judy may be correct that some of the problems would be solved if we had bigger
screens....the screen I see (15 inch Vivitron running netscape 3.1 in Windows
95) doesn't give any indication that a database (or site) needs to be loaded
until you scroll down the choices and see the load key.
Nevertheless, I am encouraged by these efforts. I think the concept is a good
one, and very few sites ( at least the ones I have kept bookmarked) have not
improved with time. I think LIBClient can be a very useful site for the
present, and that it will only get better.
