We are looking for an excellent, experienced law librarian who has a
solid grounding in traditional legal research, loves online searching and
providing reference service, and is eager to learn about new electronic
information resources.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of legal bibliography and research sources.
- Understanding of the fundamentals of legal research using print
materials.
- Proficiency in legal and non-legal computer-based research, including
CALR, CD-ROM and the Internet.
- Interest in emerging technologies; ability to investigate, evaluate
and implement electronic products, and promote their use.
- Willingness to become involved in all aspects of running a library,
including administrative duties.
Qualifications:
- M.L.S.
- Substantial legal reference experience, preferably in a law firm.
- Working knowledge of law library automation systems.
