Several of you have called me recently regarding information on
submitting program proposals for the AALL Annual Meeting in
Anaheim. I thought I would take this opportunity to let you know
what is happening.
As you might have heard, there are some exciting changes planned
for the meeting. We expect to be able to make a public
announcement of these changes, along with the theme, during the
first week in March, so stay tuned for that. We think you'll be
very pleased.
In the meantime, the Annual Meeting Program Selection Committee
(AMPSC) is in the process of preparing a packet of information for
anyone interested in proposing educational programming for Anaheim.
This packet will have guidelines for crafting your proposal, an
outline of the process, a brief description of the meeting and its
theme, the "official" form, and other useful information. I
anticipate that this packet will be available before the middle of
March, leaving you plenty of time to discuss with your SISs,
chapters, and colleagues about program ideas. Watch law-lib and/or
AALLNet for an announcement of when this material is available.
In the meantime, keep thinking about what you'd like to see for
programming in Anaheim.
