I have a patron who is trying to locate research materials for the Asian
Wild Ass, or Syrian Onager, a type of donkey which has been extinct in the
wild since 1927. Apparently, one died in captivity in 1930 at Schonbrunn.
The genus is Equus(Heminous) or Equus(Asinous). The patron is trying to
trace the origin of an unknown breed of horse she owns.
Any suggestions?
