I attended the PLI program, "Managing the Law Library 1997: Positioning
for Change" in Chicago yesterday. The New York version is scheduled for
March 12. If you are in the New York area, I would urge you to
consider attending. It was an excellent program with topics ranging
from "the media mix" for law libraries to the CD-ROM debate and
business plans. More than 50 librarians and attorneys attended from the
midwest area. My full report will be included in the March Legal Info
Alert.
In the meantime, consider attending the New York program.
Especially for those who do not have to travel far, the program is an
excellent value. Included in the price of $129 is the course handbook,
coffee breaks, a lovely lunch and the informative program. I wonder
how they make any money from this program!
Best regards,
