I saw a mention here of a new lawbooks website, and copied the address
and tried to subscribe. I received a reply requesting my password, but I
didn't understand the syntax, and my efforts to reach past the list-serv
have failed so far.
If anyone can help a direct communication to the person who maintains
this list I'd appreciate it.
Re Internet disclaimers, there has been one in many lawbooks that was
adopted by a Committee of the ABA and publishers and associations,
decades ato. There is sometimes a disclaimer of warranties on lawbook
copyright pages. If anyone wants some samples, I have (and many of your
books do too). The disclaimers, of course, are because the lawbooks
(when sold) fall under Article 2 of the UCC. The ABA wording has more to
do with the possibility that someone might use a book for research, and
the publisher is not in the business of providing legal or other
professional services.
I have representative text of either, if anyone wants.
