Thanks to all who responded to my original post re the annual charge for
the Federal Rules Decisions. Apparently West charges for advance sheets
only for the National Reporters by including the advance sheets in the
bound volume price. All other reporters are charged separately.
West is making us pay for the advance sheets in any event. I guess
it doesn't matter if they are billed separately or with the cost of
the bound volumes. Of course, if billed separately it gives us an
opportunity to cut the advance sheet subscription and save $97.00 a
year.
