Strange.. & GREEDY...IMHO & to look from another point of view...
I'll guess those are hourly-paid employees who are just as
"thrilled" as you to be sent home & lose pay just before the holiday... &
when they DO come back they have to listen to us! From what I have seen,
more often than not, the publisher Employees "pay" for these mergers just as
much as the libr/customers do, if not even more so..
I'm beginning to think the Grinch DID steal Christmas!
Not to go off on a completley dif. subject, but I couldn't believe it when
I saw on the am. news, that police officers were doing a mock arrest of
Santa Claus in front of school children to show the kids that even Santa can
get arrested! Some logic!!
Sorry - but I "don't get" the new "Values"...
