Bahamian law

     I am trying to find out if The Bahamas is a race jurisdiction or a
     race-notice jurisdiction. I have been asked for legislative histories
     on two statutes; Conveyance and law of Property, Chapter 123 section
     57 Part 10 (1909) and Registration of Records Chapter 175 section 10
     (1928). The person also asked me to "shepardize" 1 Law Reports of the
     Bahamas 349 Security Trust Company v Carl G. Fisher. (Right!)

     I have looked in Foreign Law: Current Sources of Codes and Legislation
     in Jurisdictions of the World; the Law Digest of Martindale-Hubbell;
     and law reviews which are the only helpful items I have in my
     collection. I have also called two libraries and talked to their
     international collection librarians and I have tried to reach the
     consulate.

     Is there anyone out there who can point me in a direction to answer
     this question - and tell me where sources might be located? I know
     very little about the law of the Bahamas (as one might imagine).

     Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
