While I am at the AALS meeting January 3-6, I would like to take a donor to
see an aesthetically pleasing installation of compact shelving. Anyone
have (or know of) such an installation? Any kind of library is fine, just
as long as it was planned to be a public attraction, not just a utilitarian
storage area. This donor is reluctant to say yes to compact shelving, I think
because he has only seen the latter kind.
