I have a list of the 29 states that have adopted the UCC Rev. Article 8 that
is current as of Sept. 3 1996 (found in the Nov. 1996 Commercial Law
Newsletter). I need to find out the status of any legislation dealing with
this Article for the other states. Any ideas on how to go about this?
Westlaw and Lexis could not help me. I've a call into the UCC Committee
contact for Article 8, and I spoke with a gentleman at the NCCUSL who
produced the Sept. list who had no updates. The UCC looseleafs I've
checked are no more current. The state legislatures that I've contacted
are in recess. Surfing the web hasn't turned up much. The attorney
would like this today, but I think Monday will suffice :-) Thanks for any
and all suggestions...or cites!
