This spring I will be co-teaching an advanced legal research course,
something which I have not done in several years. This two-credit, graded
course will be seminar size, not to exceed 24 students. Our course will
stress the integrated use of print and electronic materials (LEXIS/NEXIS,
WESTLAW, Dialog, Internet, various CD-ROM products).
I have obtained a number of syllabi from the Tulsa Syllabi Collection on the
Web, but would be very interested in obtaining syllabi from other schools
offering advanced legal research courses, particularly those which are
incorporating electronic materials throughout their course. (I will add our
syllabus to the Tulsa collection as soon as we have it finalized.)
Additionally, I know that some advanced research courses begin the
semester/quarter by administering a diagnostic quiz. I would really
appreciate being able to see examples of anyone's course diagnostic, or, for
that matter, any other materials which you think would be helpful!
Thanks in advance.
