I'm hoping that someone may have had experience with the following
situation and may have some tips on the best way to move files. The
files are for one of our courts who are moving into a new building.
They have shelving units with 14 inch file folders that
they stand up across the shelf. There are 7 shelves to a unit. The
units have a closed back but are open in the front. Is there
an expedient way to move the files w/o boxing all of them. There are
approx. 55,000 files and it's important that they be kept in order so
that they can be accessed as soon as the move is completed and court resumes.
They will have professional movers. The shelving units are not strong
enough to be moved w/the files still on them.
Thanks in advance for any input.
