I did reply to John Lederer's message immediately after it was posted. I
think perhaps it went to him privately, rather than to the group. (Sometimes
the reply button sends it to the group; other time it only goes to the
individual; I'm not sure how to anticipate which it's going to do any given
time.) No discourtesy was intended by me, or I assume, taken by Mr.
Lederer.
In addition, as Frank Houdek points out, our letter has been posted on
AALLNet, so it is now available to everyone. It was slightly delayed due to
