I believe the problem results not from the e-mail address to which the
posting is sent, but rather results from the "Reply to" setting either
that you use or that Law-Lib uses to facilitate replies. If Law-Lib does
not translate the "Reply to" address to the Law-Lib List Server (which I
believe is the case), then the "reply address" that everyone on the list
receives is the mailer's (that is, your) e-mail address (or the e-mail
address you have set for "reply to" in whatever e-mail client (like
Netscape) that you use. Then when some dead account receives a Law-Lib
posting from you, the server directs the reply to you rather than back to
Law-Lib. This causes two problems that do not seem to occur at other
lists: Law-Lib may never learn of the dead accounts (because it never
gets the replies) and those of who set the "reply address" to our address
get inundated with Mail Failure messages.

Either do not set the "reply-to" address or Law-Lib should change the
"reply to" default to itself rather than just pass along the e-mail
address set by the person who is sending the e-mail.
