I am hoping someone can help with information on the current status and
likely enactment date of the following US House of Representatives Bill:
H.R. 2146
104th Congress 1st session
"A bill to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to extend the
nonconventional fuel tax credit"
(the bill amends section 29(g)(1) of the IRC 1986 and is only a couple of
pages long)
I know the bill was introduced into the House by Mrs. Johnson of Connecticut
on July 31, 1995 and then referred to the Committee on Ways and Means - but
other than the fact that additional sponsors were added I can find nothing
further. I have spent a lot of time searching the GPO, GILS and White House
sites.
I would be very grateful for further assistance
