The New Hampshire Court system is accepting applications for the position
of Law Librarian II for the New Hampshire Law Library at the Supreme Court
in Concord, New Hampshire.
This advanced professional position assists the Law Librarian, has
responsibility for technical services, and participates in public
services. Works with the Law Librarian in the development, promulgation
and implementation of Law Library goals, objectives, policies, and
procedures. Catalogs, classifies, and organizes library materials.
Automates materials check-in, cataloging procedures, the library catalog.
Responds to informational needs of library patrons. Understands,
searches, and explains online databases, CD-ROM products, and other
technology. Contributes to and writes library publications.
Participates in acquisitions and collection development. Collects,
maintains, and reports library statistics. May be required to
work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Position requires graduation from an American Library Association
accredited library school with a Master's degree in library and
information science. Two to five years of professional experience
in law cataloging or technical services. A law degree may be
substituted for one year of law library experience. Salary
range: $27,427 -- 35,004. Full state benefit package available.
