Dear list-mates:
We are considering going automation with Right-on software (catalogue,
serials, circulation, etc.) using windows platform. We are a small (40,000
titles) library serving bar assn. and public. I would appreciate any
evaluation of this system and any experiences you have had. The only other
system we are considering is TLC and the vendor has given me a list of
libraries using this system. I plan to call them directly.
However the rep for Right-on said that over 24,000 libraries use their system
and therefore they could not give me a contact list! Huh? Anyway I saw the
demos in Indy and am inclined towards Right-on, but would like to hear from
actual users.
After leaving Indy, I will be in Northern Calif (Bay Area) for a week before
returning to Guam and would really like to visit a library using the Right-on
system. If you can assist me please leave me an email message. Any comments
will be appreciated. I will summarize if there is interest. Thank you all.
