The William M. Rains Library, Loyola Law School, Los Angeles is accepting
applications for a Computer Services Librarian.

DUTIES:

Under the supervision of the Head of Reference Services, the successful
candidate will manage and coordinate law library computing services
including local area network serving staff and students,
telecommunications functions and other automated systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MLS from ALA-accredited school. Although the Juris Doctor degree is not
required, candidates holding the J.D. degree may participate as an
instructor in the first year legal research program through adjunct
appointment to the law school faculty. Excellent written and oral
communication skills; demonstrated supervisory and organizational skills,
and a strong service orientation. Familiarity with utilities and
research tools, knowledge of and experience with Internet, Novell
Netware, INNOPAC, Wordperfect, Microsoft Word.

DESIRABLE: Familiarity with LEXIS, WESTLAW and legal bibliography.

SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with experience; excellent benefits.

American Association of Law Libraries in Indianapolis. The search will
