I am posting the below for Maria Protti who is not on this listserve.

Don't miss your opportunity in Indianapolis to hear two exciting Native
speakers discuss the workings of tribal government and how to find tribal
law. Apache Leader, Mildred Cleghorn, Descendant of Geronimo, and Robin
Kickingbird, Archivist, will speak. Ms. Cleghorn was the equivalent of the
chief of her tribe for over eighteen years. She was the last child to be
born in captivity under the United States Army in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The
Program, Finding Tribal Law, will be held on Monday, July 22, 10:15 a.m. -
11:45 a.m.

Our Business Meeting will be held Monday, July 22, at 5:00 p.m. in Room 200
of the Indianapolis Convention Center. Come unwind after a busy day, and
let's discuss issues in law librarianship related to Native Peoples. The
meeting is not listed in the programming guide, so be sure to take note of
this time and location.
