Can anyone tell me if there is a registry or office to call to find
out if someone is licensed to practice law? Specifically, I have a name of
someone in Montreal, and am trying to verify whether or not he is a licensed
attorney, as he claims to be. I've checked the M-H and West directories on
the Internet, and done a quick Dialog search of Canadian files to no avail.
Any advice or direction would be appreciated.
