AALL Mentor Project - Mentors Needed

From: diane.gates@lw.com
Date: Mon Jul 15 1996 - 11:22:47 PDT

Several more mentors who will be attending the AALL Annual
Meeting are needed for last minute requests for mentors,
especially for librarians attending CONELL. The purposes of
the Mentor Project are: to provide an informal, personal
source of information for newer members; to provide an
avenue by which experienced law librarians (Mentors) may
meet and assist new members of the profession; and to
provide a network for members who are contemplating a move
to another type of library. The Mentor Project is open to
librarians from all types of law libraries.

A SPECIAL REQUEST TO GOVERNMENT AND LAW FIRM MEMBERS: Right now we
especially need more librarians to be mentors in the government and
private law firm sectors. We need at least two librarians in the law
firm sector, and one or two from the State, Court, and County sector.
