As of July 4, 42 candidates have registered and 17 positions have been listed
(these numbers, of course, will rise as the annual meeting nears).
If you intend to register for the placement office as a candidate, or want
to post a job, please consider doing it in advance of the annual meeting,
rather than on-site (Sunday morning in the Placement office is generally
*very* chaotic...). Although the deadline was July 1, I can process
registration forms/job listings provided they arrive in Carbondale by July
12. Please e-mail me or give me a call if you have any questions or need
advice about utilizing the placement office.

Placement Services will be available at the 1996 AALL Annual Meeting from
10:00am - 4:00pm, Sunday through Wednesday, in the Hyatt Regency Hotel,
Indianapolis. The placement office will be closed for the Association
Luncheon on Monday, from 11:45 pm to 1:45 pm.
Instructions and forms for candidates wishing to register and instructions
for employers wishing to list a position are available in the Preliminary
Program for the Annual Meeting. In addition, these instructions and an
expanded forms depository, including necessary forms for employers and
candidates, can be found on AALLNET
