a sole practitioner just walked in my office with all our lawyers coop
publications which have been mailed since the middle of may. he also had a
5/21/96 statement with lszhl's name and account number, but with his name
and address on it. he knew nothing about why he was receiving our books and
our invoices. i, but this should come as no shock to anyone who knows me,
also knew not why he had been blessed with our stuff.
we are downtown. his office is in the galleria area. his phone number was
not even close to ours. he hadn't ordered anything from lc in years. we
order frequently.
i checked our last few statements and noticed that the street address had
changed back to the building address from the march statement to the april
one and that i had received nothing from lc since the middle of may. and he
had our may statement with his name on it.
i called lc and his name and address had indeed been inserted over our
attention line and address. the customer service rep had no idea why or how
this had happened, but changed it back. she did say that they had cut over
to a new system on 4/1/96. late april fool's joke i guess.
thought u guys might wantt to check out your lawyers coop statements, etc,
to make sure you aren't having problems of which u are not aware. i sure
hope this isn't a foretaste of what's to come when west goes under the
umbrella.
