This message is directed to Florida librarians, particularly those in
Vero Beach, Indian River County in the 19th Judicial Circuit (I'm told).
An attorney here would like to know if there are any local court rules
for this court dealing with time limits for briefing schedules, i.e. if
a motion is filed, what is the time within which a memorandum in opposition
may be filed, etc. She has a case pending before Judge Robert Makemson if that
is of any help.
I am aware that the Florida Court Rules are on Lexis, and we can get
those easily, but if there are any local rules which are different, we'd
like to know what they are. I'll be calling the clerk's office as well to
see if they can help.
Thanks!
