Dear Newer Colleagues:

You are invited to participate in CONELL '96, the Conference of Newer Law
Librarians.

CONELL is an annual event of the American Association of Law Librarians. It
is a unique opportunity to learn about AALL and meet other new members in a
small, informal setting. CONELL gives you the chance to meet Association
leaders, and talk to librarians from all types of law libraries and a
variety of jobs. You can make new friends, establish professional contacts,
and find out about the workings of AALL, its committees, SISs and chapters.
You'll earn the ins and outs of the AALL Annual Meeting from the experts,
and even have a guided tour of the exhibit hall.

CONELLL '96 takes place on Saturday, July 20, at the Indianapolis Convention
Center. It is scheduled so that it does not conflict with other Annual
Meeting events. The program begins at 8:45a.m. with a working breakfast,
and concludes at 3:00p.m. Lunch is included. The cost for the program is
$55. To register for CONELL, mark the box on your registration form, found
on page 21 and 23 of the AALL Annual Meeting Preliminary Program, and return
it to AALL Headquarters by June 1.

CONELL is designed for those who have been law librarians for two years or
less. Give your career a boost. Attend CONELL '96.
