We realize that this question has been posted before, but we'd like to
broaden its scope somewhat. In our courthouse library, part of the
collection circulates while some materials are for in-library use only. We
don't have a policy for dealing with computer disks, either free disks or
purchased ones. We'd like to know how other libraries deal with disks - are
they catalogued, put on the shelf/kept in Reference or circulated?
If anyone has written policies on this matter, we'd like to see them. Thank
you for your help.
