Greetings!

I'm writing to request any comments or advice concerning the best methods
to collect accurate reference or public services statistics. We have a
combined public services counter from which we provide reference
assistance, circulation, and some fee-based services. We have collected
statistics since 1992, but we are discovering a tendency to inflate the
actual numbers of transactions.
