Subject: ROUGH DRAFT--AALL Discussion Groups List?
Below is a list of all AALL related listservs/discussion groups that I
could locate-- thanks to the help of the many SIS and Chapter leaders we
have.
If I missed your SIS/Chapter/Consortium listserv (oops-heck and darn
blast), please send corrections/additions.
One of my goals as ASD SIS Chair has been to find ways that my SIS can
facilitate communication between members of all AALL groups.
In my view, creating listservs and web sites can play a significant support
role in this matter.
If you would like me to create a listserv for your particular AALL group,
let me know. Part of me wants to "fill in" the AALL holes--so to speak.
I think a discussion group can be tremendous "bully pulpit." Your listserv
can be completely closed (like a formal mailing list) or it can be completely
open.
It looks like the ASD SIS will be pulling together the
Computer Lab at the AALL Annual Convention--and I believe this can be
used to get the word out about **your group. So...please feel free to
bring to my attention any electronic resources you have designed. I
suspect that new (potential) group members might be attracted to the
computer area.
