Can someone help me out:
Last Wednesday, I attempted to search the law-lib archives at
www.kentlaw.edu but kept getting a 500 Server error. I was persistent and
able to see that there were several law-lib postings under this topic;
however, I grew tired of the error message and was unable to actually view
the text of the messages. The next day, I tried again and was able to
connect with no problem but the compact shelving messages were no longer
there. I am assuming that messages are dumped after a certain amount of
time and I caught it on the cusp.
I then tried searching the archives at gopher.law.cornell.edu but
found only 1 message dealing with compact shelving. (There were several at
kentlaw on Wednesday) I did find archives somewhere else (slips my mind as
I type) but they were arranged by date which will not help me.
Any suggestions?
