Has anyone out there had any problems with the BNA IP CD ROM?
Periodically, we will get a font error message and all the text
displayed will be unreadable. We have experienced this problem both on
our network and our stand alone units. This leads us to believe that
the problem is with the software which runs the CD application rather
than a compatability problem with our computer systems. We have been
less than impressed with BNA's tech support people. They don't seem to
have a real handle on their product, and have been unable to help us
with this problem. Any feedback would be helpful, as we are looking
for leads to follow.
Also, if you are using the BNA's IP product, be aware that the disk
they consider to be the March disk has February 19, 1996 on it. In
addition, the February disk only has cases through January 24, 1996.
I think BNA would be better served to identify the disk by the date of
the last case covered by that disk rather than a date one month later.
And then, on top of that, they refer to the disk, which has a February
date on it as the March disk. In my opinion this is absolutely
confusing. In reality and according to BNA's own diffinition of each
months disk, when the subscribers gets it, it is already two months
behind the hard copy. Of course you wouldn't know that because they
are refering to the current disk as the March disk, which is misleading
beause the latest case is January 24th. Hmmm! Any feedback on this
issue would be appreciated as well.
