I also agree, not very long ago, the AALL board jumped abord
Jamie Love's bandwagon without any input from the members. If memory
serves right they were against West controlling so much of the legal
information that it constituted a near monopoly. Now when an even more
deadly monoploy on legal publications is being formed they disappear and
leave it to the members to fight the battle. I have two questions:
Whose bed did the executive board jump in that they don't wish to
offend?
What is our lobbyist doing about the situation if anything? (he
was one of the reasons stated for the attempt of the dues increase was he
not?)
