We (the Reference Librarians) are planning to teach a 3 credit course in
Advanced Legal Research here at USD in the Spring. We were wondering if
anyone has some recent syllabi on such a course that they have taught.
Does anyone have any student/teacher reactions to such a course? (Other
than the obvious need for such a course!)
If you have taught a 3 credit couse, how many hours per week did you meet?
Did you have weekly homework, and was it an "intergrated" class (teaching
on-line services along with the "book" materials? Did you have a final
exam? Was it a "take-home" or a class room exam?
We want this to be as effective and helpful to the students as possible.
All item suggestions and reactions are welcome. Don't be shy, we can
take it!
Thanks for your support and recommendations.
Frank Weston
