Greetings
We have searched everywhere we can think of for recent statistics on
the total amount of "qualified 501(c)(3) bonds" that have been
issued. These are defined in IRC sec 145. Exempt organizations can issue
these bonds with a cap of
$150 million per institution, but one of our professors would like
statistics on the total amount of all institutions.
He is not interested in tax-exempt bonds generally, for which we can
find statistics.
We have tried all the tax online material in Lexis/Westlaw, searched
the Bond Buyer, looked for footnotes in articles about this topic,
Called the IRS and the Federal Reserve, and looked at things like the
Statistical Abstract.
Does anyone have any ideas of where we could find this information?
