wrote about Arkansas Supreme Court Justice George Rose Smith
and his practice of issuing a fictional opinion on April 1.
Tim also mentioned that the fictional opinions were only
published in the Arkansas Advance Sheets and not in the
official reports. Apparently with one exception. One of the
opinions, and Tim refers to Catt v. State, 691 S.W. 2d 120,
did make it into print.
