I am trying to identify other libraries with systems or technical positions on their staff. These positions would include Systems Administrator, Systems Analyst, Manager of Research Technologies, Manager of Library Systems, etc. These positions would also include librarians with responsibilities in the area of technology such as Systems Librarians, or Electronic Services Specialists, especially those individuals acting as the library's liaison to the IS Department. It would also be useful to know how these staff members are utilized and their general areas of responsibility.
Although our library is a private law firm library, I would be delighted to receive information from any sector of the library community regarding their approach to supporting and staffing for library technologies and research systems. Please reply directly to me. I would be glad to share my results with those interested.
