Dear subscribers:
I am trying to devise a survey for a research methods course as a means to
gather information on the research needs of lawyers and articling students
in corporate law firms and how law librarians can meet these needs. I would
appreciate any comments on this issue and any suggestions for what kind of
questions I should include in my survey. As this is only a practice course
in research methods the surveys won't actually be sent out but they do have
to be realistic.
I am also writing a research paper for a legal literature course on the
merits of a law librarian having either a MLS or a law degree, or both. I
realise this may be a sensitive issue however, I would appreciate any
comments on this topic.
Thanks in advance.
