There is one I know of from Arkansas
Catt v. State, 691 S.W.2d 120 (Ark., 1985). I seem
to remember reading that it was never supposed to
be published.
Also, FYI, we have had a number
of requests this year for a bogus case mentioned
in an article in April 1996 issue of
The Docket (I think it is the Denver Bar
Association newsletter) about the U.S. Supreme Court
declaring Bar exams unconstitutional. The kicker is that
it gives decision date of March 19, 1996 and
a U.S. Law Week cite with the correct volume (but
the page number is too high for what has been received).
When we finally got our hands on a copy
of the article we discovered that there are a few red flags
that should be spotted right away ( no docket number
provided, the cases mentioned do not support this type of a
constitutional law decision--Hadley v. Baxendale, Palsgraff...)
but not everyone is catching them.
The table of contents indicates that all the articles in this
issue may be in the same vane. However, the ads on the
2 pages we have received look very real.

Does anyone remember the cases (cites) to the bogus decisions released by a
judge on April Fools Day?
Thank You
