I was just reading one of my industry newsletters and came across an
item that should be of interest to you. The FTC has imposed a
"proposed consent agreement" on Georgetown Publishing House for its
misleading practice of sending you all clippings with "J's" post-it
note.

The proposed consent agreement, to settle the charges, is subject to
public comment for 60 days [from Feb 28]. Then the FTC will decide
whether to make it final. Copies of the complaint, agreement and an
analysis of the agreement are available from the FTC's Public Reference
Branch in DC.

BTW--the president of Georgetown is Daniel Levinas. His address is
1101 30th St, NW, Washington DC 20007; 202-337-5890.

Maybe send him a copy of one of the listserv messages with a note,
"Daniel, Try this, it works!" [sign with your initial!].

Best regards,
