One of our attorneys is in desparate need of an interpretive letter from the
Office of the Comptroller of the Currency dated 6/18/86 about securities
activities of banks. The CC at the time was Robert L. Clarke and the letter
is addressed to Alphonse D'Amato. This may or may not be a public letter,
but it is referenced in many other OCC letters. Our CCH Banking Law
Reporter transfer binders don't go back that far and I do not even have a
citation to one. We have checked Westlaw and Lexis without success. I
would really appreciate a faxed--(901)543-8030--copy or any direction you
may give me to a speedy source for this letter. Thanks!
