I have been asked to post the message below for Arlene Abady, editor of the
Colorado Lawyer. The Colorado Lawyer, the official publication of the
Colorado Bar Association, will be available in two versions beginning May,
1996: the current (standard) version, which includes full text of Colorado
appellate and supreme court opinions, and a shorter version which will
include opinion summaries. More information may be found at
http://www.usa.net/cobar/opinions.htm
Here's the message:
The Colorado Lawyer, with the May 1996 issue, offers a shorter version to
its members and to libraries. Members of the Colorado Bar Association and
subscribers may choose to receive the journal without the full-text
appellate opinions. Summaries will still be provided. The shorter version
will have the same issue number, month and volume as the standard version;
the only difference will be that the shorter version will exclude the
full-text opinions. Those citing to the Colorado Lawyer in briefs and
articles should be sure to use the month of the issue from now on since
consecutive page numbering was eliminated as of the January 1996 issue.
Anyone wishing to receive the shorter version should contact the CBA
Membership Department by fax or phone: (303) 894-0821 (fax);
(303) 860-1115 (phone). To go back to the full-text, standard version at
any time, contact the CBA Membership Department.
