We are searching for a comprehensive electronic source of state
judicial biographical information, particularly information relating
to educational background.
We have already evaluated the following four sources: The American
Bench, The Judicial Yellow Book, West's Legal Directory, and Marquis
Who's Who. Presently, The American Bench is not available in
electronic format. Yet, even if it were, it does not provide
complete educational background information for state trial court
judges. The Judicial Yellow Book will soon be available in
electronic format; unfortunately, it does not provide any information
concerning state trial court judges. West's Legal Directory is
available in electronic format, but like The American Bench, West's
Legal Directory does not provide complete educational background
information for state trial court judges. Finally, Marquis Who's Who
is available in electronic format but provides only selective
coverage of judges.
Does anyone know of a comprehensive electronic source of state
judicial biographical information, particularly information relating
to educational background? Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
