Recently, we have had an experience where members of law review have come
to the library asking for help with log-ins to Lexis Counsel Connect,
Netscape connections through LCC, and handling other internet e-mail
problems through LCC's Internet service. The problem is that Lexis never
told any one at the law school that this was coming. We also provide our
students with Law School supported internet service. Does any one know
what is going on? Is Lexis now competing with law schools in providing
internet access?
This is very puzzling. I'd appreciate any insight any one can give.

Coincidently with your question, this morning I called the
editorial office of The Texas Lawyer because I needed additional
information on an article they ran and I wanted to know more
about the Lexis Counsel Connect reference at the end of the
article. The woman I spoke with told me that Lexis is no longer
affiliated with Counsel Connect. I wonder if that is the case?
