My Lawyers Co-op rep was visiting the other day, and apparently everyone
at LCP is assuming the sale will go through. The rep said that
Thompson's bid was the highest, and now they're all getting ready to
start selling West products, dumping USCA, jettisoning Premise, firing
West reps, etc., etc., etc. Even if it's not a done deal yet, a lot of
commotion is afoot at the lower levels. With all of the competing
products, it is VERY difficult to anticipate what our libraries will look
like when the dust clears.
