Beth,
We have been very pleased with the chairs we purchased for the new
library when we moved in in 1990. They are the Sensor model by
Steelcase. This is a heavy duty office model chair on a five wheel
base; plastic covering and fabric seat and back. After 5 1/2 years of
hard use, they are holding up very well. They are popular with our
patrons for their comfort and back support. We still get attorneys
who use the library ask us where they can buy these chairs for their
offices.
