At the moment, we have both wooden shelving and metal shelving in our
library. (It's a loooong story...). Our wooden shelves are about 12
years old, 3 feet wide, and sagging, some boards more than others. Our 3-
foot metal shelving is brown with wooden end panels, looks fine, and is
performing beautifully despite being moved twice. We will be moving to a
new library in a couple of years and I would gladly have all metal shelving.
