Description: Provides reference assistance to faculty, students and other
library patrons. Assists students and faculty with Lexis and Westlaw
training and searching. Hires, trains, and supervises law student library
assistants. Performs interlibrary lending and borrowing through OCLC.
Participates with other members of the public services department in
research instruction through tours, lectures, and the creation of legal
research tools. Position requires some evening and weekend hours.
Requirements: M.L.S. & J.D. degrees from accredited institutions;
knowledge of traditional and computer-assisted legal research; supervisory
experience. This individual should have a strong service orientation,
strong communications skills, and the ability to work independently and as
part of a team.
