I have been asked to come up with a "list" itemizing which states
define a partnership as an entity and which states define partnership
as an aggregate. I have searched law journal articles, all case law,
all statutes and have come up with a few states' theories, but not
all. For example, the Texas Code states in Art. 6132b-2.01 that "a
partnership is an entity distinct from its partners". I need this kind
of info from all 50 states!!! Does anyone have knowledge as to what
partnership theory your individual states rely on? Is anyone aware of
an article out there that provides a run-down on this? Any leads would
be greatly appreciated!! I will compile the results for the list if
there is any interest. Typical Friday project, huh? Thanks in advance
