Subject: need old Senate & House Reports
As I am having no luck with local libraries, I now turn to the list for
help with obtaining two rather old Congressional reports. They are as
follows:
S.Rep. No. 1035, 75th Cong., 1st Sess. 1-2 (1937)
H.R.Rep. No. 1503, 75th Cong., 1st Sess. 2 (1937).
These were both cited in footnote n.3 of a recent Ninth Circuit case,
Bidart Brothers v. The California Apple Commission, 1996 U.S.App. LEXIS
299. According to the note, these reports should have something to do
with the ability of citizens to challenge a state tax and whether the tax
needs to be paid before going to court.
If anyone has these reports in their library, I would truly appreciate
copies, either by fax, mail or e-mail, and would of course pay all costs.
Thanks so much.
