Just heard about this offer and it appears to be pretty tempting
especially for friends and family who are only on for a couple of
hours a month.
This is not available yet and you can get more info from
sprtye@spry.com. The latest I heard was that it would not be available
until the end of January. The service is $4.95/mo for 3 hours (they have
other pricing plans for more hours) and $1.95 for each hour thereafter.
This includes e-mail, Web access and a home page. Apparently this is
Compuserve/Spry's response to the Microsoft Network offer of $4.95/mo.
I'm guessing that most people who use the web for non-business purposes
use it regularly for e-mail but don't use it as heavily for WWW access
after the initial thrill wears off. It will be nice to see what kind of
effect these offers have on the regular $20-$30 accounts most of us use now.
It's going to be a very interesting year!

When SPRYTE is available, CompuServe will email you with information on how to
receive your free disk!
